Professional Background
Professional BackgroundMeg Sporn is a dedicated Nurse Practitioner specializing in cardiovascular care. Motivated by a family history of extensive heart disease, she pursued nursing to help others facing similar challenges. She earned her BSN from Brenau University and began her career on the Cardiovascular Stepdown Unit at Emory St. Joseph’s Hospital. Meg later completed her MSN at Mercer University and a post-graduate certificate in Adult Gerontology Acute Care at Emory University. She is an Associate of the American College of Cardiology.
Since 2020, she has served patients at Atlanta Heart Specialists, focusing on coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, and peripheral vascular disease. Meg is passionate about patient education and empowering individuals to achieve long-term heart health.
Outside of work, she enjoys traveling, reading, spending time with her husband and son, walking her golden retriever Ellie, and cheering on the Atlanta Braves.
