My Biography
Amani Simeon, NP, originally from Piscataway, NJ, relocated to Georgia in 2021. She began her nursing career in 2013 as a Licensed Practical Nurse and quickly advanced to Unit Manager within six months. She later earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Berkeley College in Woodland Park, NJ.
As a Registered Nurse, Amani worked on a cardiology step-down unit before moving into intensive care. Her leadership and clinical skills led her to become a Charge Nurse and later an Acute Cardiology Nurse Educator, where she played a key role in preparing teams for disease-specific certifications.
Driven by a passion for cardiology and critical care, she earned her Master of Science in Nursing from Herzing University in 2025 and is now Board Certified as an Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner.
Her clinical interests include Vascular Health, Cardiology, Hypertension, and Critical Care.
Outside of work, Amani enjoys time with her children, the beach, and a good drama movie.
