Professional BackgroundDr. Binu Kunjummen is a board-certified Interventional Cardiologist dedicated to providing comprehensive cardiovascular care with a focus on advanced interventional procedures and patient-centered outcomes.He earned his Bachelor of Science degree from the University of Minnesota and his Doctor of Medicine from Ross University School of Medicine. Dr. Kunjummen completed his residency in Internal Medicine at UMDNJ/Muhlenberg Regional Medical Center in New Jersey and pursued a fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at Tulane UniversitySchool of Medicine in New Orleans, where he served as Chief Fellow in his final year. He subsequently completed advanced fellowships in Interventional Cardiology at the University of Texas–Houston and in Pacemaker Implantation at Newark Beth Israel Medical Center.At AHS, Dr. Kunjummen has held multiple leadership positions, including Director of the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratories, Section Chief of Cardiology for Emory Decatur and Emory Hillandale Hospitals, and Chief of Internal Medicine at Emory Hillandale.Dr. Kunjummen has performed several thousand invasive and interventional procedures throughout his career.
