Professional Background
Dr. Ramaswamy received his Bachelor of Science from the University of Miami in Coral Gables, FL, where he was an Isaac Bashevis Singer Scholar, a full-tuition merit award. He earned his medical degree through the Honors Program in Medical Education at the University of Miami School of Medicine in Miami, FL, where he also received the Medical Trustees merit scholarship. He completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine, and fellowships in Cardiology and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology, at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center and Parkland Memorial Hospital in Dallas, TX.
Dr. Ramaswamy is board certified in Cardiology and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. He has over 25 years of experience in cardiac electrophysiology and was the first physician in Georgia to perform adult cryoablation and robotic ablation. He is a native of Smyrna, GA.
