David Suh, MD, FACC

Dr. Suh was raised in Dunwoody, Georgia. He obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry from the University of Virginia. Returning to his roots, he attended medical school at the Medical College of Georgia. He completed his residency training in Internal Medicine at Wake Forest University Baptist Medical Center in Winston-Salem, NC. There he received the Osler Award for Outstanding Senior Resident in Internal Medicine. He served one year as Chief Resident in Internal Medicine prior to beginning his cardiovascular training. He completed his Fellowship in Cardiovascular Diseases at the Medical College of Ohio in Toledo, OH. He later served there as an Instructor of Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases for two years before returning to Atlanta.

Dr. Suh holds board certifications in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Diseases.

Throughout his career, Dr. Suh has been involved in many community outreach programs. These include the initiation of a community service program in Charlottesville, VA as well as providing medical care at homeless clinics in Augusta, GA. He also started a Cardiology specialty care program at an urban clinic in Toledo, OH.

Dr. Suh performs cardiac catheterization, permanent pacemaker implantation, transthoracic and transesophageal echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and stress testing and diagnostic peripheral arteriography.

He has been named a Castle Connolly "Top Doctor" as listed in Atlanta Magazine since 2016.

His clinical interests include Preventive Cardiology, Congestive Heart Failure, Pacemaker Implantation and Peripheral Arterial Disease.

He personally enjoys exercise/fitness, reading, spending time with his wife and three children, and is an avid Atlanta Falcons football fan.
