Meg is a certified Nurse Practitioner who grew up in Lawrenceville, Ga. She obtained her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Brenau University and her Master of Science in Nursing from Mercer University. For her academic achievements, she was inducted into the Phi Kappa Phi and Sigma Theta Tau International honor societies.
Prior to joining Atlanta Heart Specialists, Meg worked as a bedside nurse at Emory Saint Joseph's hospital on the cardiac ICU step-down unit. She previously served as a charge nurse and trained new graduate nurses.
Her clinical interests include preventative cardiology, coronary artery disease, and congestive heart failure. Meg is passionate about patient education and helping patients take charge of their cardiac health.
She personally enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with family and friends, and is an avid Atlanta Braves baseball fan.
